Day 1: ARRIVAL - KATHMANDU

Day 3: KATHMANDU - LHASA

In the morning, flight to Lhasa. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel. Afternoon dedicated to rest and acclimatization to altitude. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: LHASA

After breakfast, excursion to the Drepung Monastery, the largest in Tibet and still today an important center of studies. In the afternoon visit to the Jokhang Temple located in the heart of Lhasa and dating back to the 8th century and the typical Tibetan market of Barkhor. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: LHASA

Full day of sightseeing in the city and its surroundings: the imposing Potala, symbol of the power of the Lamas. It was the winter palace of the Dalai Lama and is placed in a position for which it is visible from all corners of the city. Tour of the Sera monastery, after Drepung by width and famous because here the monks reproduced the Tibetan sacred texts and the Norbulinka, summer residence from which the Dalai Lama escaped into exile. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6: LHASA - KATHMANDU

After breakfast, transfer to the airport, flight to Kathmandu, arrival in Kathmandu and accommodation in Hotel. In the afternoon excursion to the medieval city of Bhadgaon (Bhaktapur). Overnight at hotel.

Day 7: KATHMANDU

In the morning visit to the stupa of Bodhnath and Pashupatinath, the "Varanasi of Nepal". Afternoon available. Overnight.

Day 8: KATHMANDU

In the morning, visit of Patan, also called Lalitpur, the "beautiful city". Afternoon available for rest or personal activities. Overnight.

Day 9: KATHMANDU - DEPARTURE

The morning available for rest or personal activities. Afternoon transfer to the international airport. Return flight home.
