Day 1: ARRIVAL - KATHMANDU

Departure by scheduled flight. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, meet with our representative who will receive you and take you to the Hotel Prescelto. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: KATHMANDU

In the morning, after breakfast, visit Kathmandu, located at 1300 m. of altitude surrounded by the foothills of the Himalayan range. The architecture of the city is the result of an interesting blend of Buddhist and Hindu culture, which gives temples and palaces an unmistakable appearance. Visit the great Stupa of Swayambhunath, an ancient sanctuary of two thousand years, revered as much by Buddhists as by Hindus. Continue to the nearby city of Patan. In the afternoon visit to Patan, an ancient city with countless art treasures. Continuation to the Tibetan refugee camp dedicated to the weaving of carpets and wool. Overnight.

Day 3: KATHMANDU

After breakfast, visit to the Hindu sanctuary of Pashupatinath (the "Varanasi of Nepal"), dedicated to Shiva, on the banks of the sacred river Bagnati where burnt the pyre of the faithful led to the cremation, and the Buddhist stupa of Bodhnath, at the base of which faithful make the "prayer wheels" turn. Day 4: KATHMANDU - POKHARA

Day 5: POKHARA

Visit of Pokhara, and boat ride on Lake Phewa. Afternoon at leisure for relaxing or for guided walks in the hilly area. Overnight.

Day 6: POKHARA - DHULIKHEL

Departure by car towards Kathmandu, along the road that runs along the river Trisuli, stop at Kurintar for lunch. Continue to Dhulikhel, a pleasant mountain station 30 km away from Kathmandu. Hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight.

Day 7: DHULIKHEL - KATHMANDU - DEPARTURE

In the morning you can reach - on foot or by car - the locality of Panauti, located at the confluence of two rivers, once an important post station along the caravan route to Tibet, now a Hindu religious center, with numerous temples, shrines and "ghats" , the stairways along the river used for cremations.
