Programma del tour (giornaliero):

Day 1: MUMBAI

Arrival at Mumbai international airport, meeting and assistance with our local representative and transfer to the chosen hotel. Overnight.

Day 2: MUMBAI – AURANGABAD (by flight) 

After breakfast, excursion to Elephanta Island. In the afternoon transfer to the national airport for the flight to Aurangabad. Upon arrival in Aurangabad, transfer to the hotel and overnight.

Day 3: AURANGABAD – AJANTA - AURANGABAD

Full day dedicated to the excursion of the Ajanta caves, a UNESCO world heritage site. Situated among the intricate hills of the Sahyadri hills about 107 km from Aurangabad city, the Ajanta Caves are an example of the most precious architecture of the beginning was Buddhist with precisely, paintings and sculptures inside these cavities. In fact, these caves had been created for the use of prayer rooms and monasteries dedicated to the god Buddha, where the monks could meditate and teach the doctrine. Return to Aurangabad and overnight.

Day 4: AURANGABAD – ELLORA - AURANGABAD 

Another day excursion to the Ellora Caves, a UNESCO world heritage site. These caves are a group of prayer rooms, monasteries, Hindu temples and Jainists. All excavated between the 5th and 11th centuries. Return to Aurangabad and overnight ..

Day 5: AURANGABAD - INDORE

After breakfast departure for Indore. Arrival in Indore and check-in at the hotel and the rest of the day is available for personal activities. Overnight.

Day 6: INDORE – MANDU - INDORE

After breakfast departure and sight for Mandu famous for the romantic "gazal" of the Baz Bahadur for his consort, Rani Roopmati. Return to Indore and overnight.

Day 7: INDORE – UJJAIN - BHOPAL   

After breakfast departure for Bhopal, with a stop for the visit of Ujjain. Ujjain is located on the banks of the sacred river Shipra, and together with Hardwar, Nasik, Prayag, Ujjayini for a very ancient Hindu tradition is a place where one can immerse themself in holy water to absolve the due ablutions. Then continue to Bhopal and overnight.

Day 8: BHOPAL – SANCHI - BHOPAL

After breakfast a half day excursion to Sanchi. Sanchi is famous for its Stupa, monasteries, temples and columns dating from the third century BC to the twelfth century AD. The most famous monument was erected by emperor Mauria Ashoka and is the Sanchi Stupa 1, converted to Buddhism. Return to Bhopal and visit of the city, capital of Madhya Pradesh. Overnight.

Day 9: BHOPAL – BHIMBETKA - JABALPUR

In the morning, departure to Jabalpur, on the road to Bhimbetka Rock Shelters. Surrounded by the Vindhyan range to the north, Bhimbetka is 46 km south of Bhopal. This area is rich in dense and intricate forest and emerging rocks, there are over 600 cave-shelters dating back to the Neolithic period where you can still see paintings of the time. Continue to Jabalpur and hotel accommodation. Overnight.

Day 10: JABALPUR – KANHA

After breakfast we leave for Kanha, famous for the Tiger Reserve. In the Park there are 22 species of mammals and 200 species of birds. But Khana is famous for her tigers, and above all for some species of White Tiger. Overnight.

Day 11: KANHA

Full day dedicated to safaris by Jeep inside the park, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 12: KANHA – BANDHAVGARH

Breakfast at hotel and departure for Bandhavgarh National Park. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. Towards evening, the first safari inside the park. Overnight.

Day 13: BANDHAVGARH - KHAJURAHO

Second safari in the morning on the trail of the tiger. After is a transfer to Khajuraho. Check-in at the Hotel. Overnight.

Day 14: KHAJURAHO

Breakfast at the hotel and visit of the famous temple masterpieces of Indian sacred architecture: the Western ones (built in the West) by Hinduists, known for their erotic depictions and the Oriental ones (to the east) by Jainists. Also visit the Chandela temple. Overnight.

Day 15: KHAJURAHO – ORCHA - GWALIOR

After breakfast, drive to Gwalior en-route visiting Orcha. Tour of the ancient and quiet town and the Jehangir Mahal, a palace built in 1606, on the occasion of the visit of the emperor Jehangir to host it and some interesting temples. Arrival in Gwalior and overnight.

Day 16: GWALIOR - AGRA

After breakfast, tour of the city. The ancient capital of Gwalior has been home to many kingdoms, from the Rajput dynasty of the Pratiharas, to the Kacchwahas and the Tomars, and to the end of the Scindas dynasty that left many signs of their rule: precious palaces, temples and monuments. Following is departure for Agra. Arrival in Agra and check-in at the hotel. Overnight.

Day 17: AGRA

The whole day is dedicated to the visit of Agra and its famous monuments, first of all the Tomb of Akbar in Sikandra, the Agra Fort, the former imperial residence of Emperor Moghul Shah Jahan and the Mausoleum of Etimad-ud-Daula. The afternoon is dedicated to the visit of Taj Mahal, named the first wonder of the world, reachable in a carriage, called a "Tonga". Overnight at hotel.

Day 18: AGRA – FATEHPUR SIKRI - JAIPUR 

After breakfast departure for Jaipur. Stop on the way for a tour of Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned capital built by Emperor Akbar of the Moghul dynasty. Arrival in Agra and accommodation in hotel.

Day 19: JAIPUR

Breakfast at the hotel and immediately visit the Amber Fort, 11 km away. From Jaipur, imposing fortress of Rajput civilization. The last stretch of climb to the fort is on the back of placid elephants almost to recall the ancient deeds of the Maharaja. Inside the walls you can visit palaces and pavilions of refined beauty and the small but precious temple of the Goddess Kali. In the afternoon visit of the city, capital of Rajasthan, the "pink city", one of the most beautiful and picturesque in India. Visit to the famous and depicted in all the postcards Hawa Mahal or the palace of the winds and the palace of the Maharaja (City Palace), largely converted into a museum and the Astronomical Observatory (Jantar Mantar). Overnight.

Day 20: JAIPUR - DELHI

After breakfast departure for Delhi and check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day is free. Overnight.

Day 21: DELHI

After breakfast at the hotel, tour of the Old Delhi (Shahajahanabad), the Red Fort, the Jama Masjid Friday Mosque with a thrilling ride on the rickshaw in the narrow and crowded streets of Old Delhi. Following is a visit to New Delhi with its most important monuments: the colonial government buildings in front of the India Gate, the Mausoleum of Emperor Humayun and the Qutub Minar complex. Towards evening, transfer to the international airport.
